Abstract/Description
An interview with William "Bucko" Bennett (1921-2011), a retired marine engineering technician at the Boston Navy Shipyard and Tuskegee Airman. Bennett talks about his father, a disciplinarian; his education and playing football in school; and his service in the military during World War II. This interview was collected as part of Northeastern University's Lower Roxbury Black History Project (2007-2009).
