Abstract/Description
Alfreda Harris, a resident of Lower Roxbury who attended the Robert Gould Shaw House and the Breezy Meadows Camp in Holliston, Massachusetts, helps identify a collection of Reverend Michael E. Haynes' photographs, which were digitized by Lolita Parker, Jr. for inclusion in the Lower Roxbury Black History Project (2007-2009). The photographs depict the young attendees, recreational activities, and physical features of the camp. The photographs described in this audio clip are located in a sub-collection of the "Interview with Reverend Michael E. Haynes" in the Lower Roxbury Black History Project.
