Abstract/Description
A group of campers salute the flag at Breezy Meadows Camp in Holliston, Massachusetts. This photograph is part of a scrapbook compiled by Reverend Michael E. Haynes, the former pastor of Twelfth Baptist Church and a participant in the Lower Roxbury Black History Project. Haynes attended Breezy Meadows Camp as a child and continued to work with the camp through his early 30's, first as a counselor and later as the Camp Director. The Robert Gould Shaw House managed the summer camp in Holliston, Massachusetts for inner-city children from the Greater Boston area.
