Richard Brown

An interview with Richard G. Brown, World War II and Korean War Veteran, community activist, and teacher who lived and worked in Lower Roxbury his entire life. In Interview 1, Brown reflects on his childhood memories, faith, and the importance of community centers, like the Robert Gould Shaw House, for youth development. In Interview 2, Brown talks about his education and his service as a Quartermaster in the United States Army during World War II.
