Kenneth Guscott

An interview with Kenneth Guscott (1925-), former chief nuclear test engineer at General Dynamics, founder of the Long Bay Management Company, and former president of the NAACP branch in Boston from 1963-1968. Guscott reminisces about the recreational programs offered by the Shaw House and reflects on his early memories of the Roxbury community. Guscott also discusses his political activism; he talks about Marcus Garvey, the riots in Roxbury during the 60's, and founding a real estate development and management firm.
