Abstract/Description
An interview with Reverend Michael E. Haynes (1927-), former pastor of Twelfth Baptist Church and Massachusetts State Representative. Haynes talks about his early influences, the introduction of gospel music to Boston, his experiences working with youth, and the effects of urban renewal on his community. This interview was collected as part of Northeastern University's Lower Roxbury Black History Project (2007-2009).
