Abstract/Description
An interview with James Scott (1933-), a resident of Lower Roxbury. Scott talks about his parents' cosmetics business, DECCO Beauty and Barber Supply Company, and his family members' contributions to its success. Scott also reflects on his father's character and the legacy for his family and the larger community. This interview was collected as part of Northeastern University's Lower Roxbury Black History Project (2007-2009).
