Abstract/Description
The Fiftieth Anniversary annual report of the Robert Gould Shaw House settlement and community center, which provided important educational and recreational programs for the surrounding neighborhood of Lower Roxbury, highlights the organization's successful programs and future plans. At its fiftieth year, the settlement house relocation and redevelopment plans due to renewal efforts in the surrounding neighborhood. The program also includes a timeline of events in the organization's history; photographs of the center's recreational activities and clubs; and an honor roll and awards section for community service.
