Abstract/Description
An interview with Lillian Christopher Corbin (1924-), a resident of Lower Roxbury, community activist, and member of the 100 Black Women Coalition and the Women's Service Club. Corbin describes her childhood, her time at the Cooper Community Center, and the employment opportunities available to African American women at the time. This interview was collected as part of Northeastern University's Lower Roxbury Black History Project (2007-2009).
